RTL caret after a trailing space

The report concerns Safari/WebKit. Compare this page in Safari and Chrome.

  1. Click the Hebrew word שלום in the document. Press Left Arrow until the caret reaches the left end of the word.
  2. Click Capture measurements for the baseline, then type one Space in the editor and capture again.
  3. The caret should move left by the width of the space. Check if it instead stays one position behind.
  4. Type another Hebrew letter and compare. Reset to repeat. If you only use Chrome, you may not see the reported bug.
